Our Mission

To confront the immediate challenges of hunger and deprivation by providing essential food supplies and basic necessities to individuals and families in dire need

Guided by the scriptural truth that "whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord" (Proverbs 19:17), the Berbiam Foundation for the Homeless stands as a living testament to God's commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves. In the heart of Uganda, we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ, serving the least of these with the conviction that in doing so, we serve Him directly (Matthew 25:40). We believe that every soul without a home is a sacred creation, bearing the image of God, and it is our divine mission to restore not just shelter, but dignity, hope, and the unwavering knowledge of God's love. Our work is more than humanitarian aid; it is a faithful response to the Gospel, building a foundation of compassion where the homeless find refuge under the shadow of His wings.
